Get Yourself A Free SEO Report

 I’ve been meaning to put up a post for a few days now about a new tool Shoemoney has been pushing called FreeSEOReport.com. I’m always a little skeptical of these types of sites, but this one is worth a quick look.

Getting your free report requires you to sign up for an account. Easy enough. Just email address, keyword/phrase and your site name are all that’s required. You’re sent a confirmation link, then given access to the system to grab your free report. A copy is also emailed to you once the report is finished running. Pretty cool.

Some of the things it checks are key SEO items on your site, your rankings compared to others in your niche (based on the keyword or phrase you provide), and some technical things with your site that could impact the search engines ability to see and rank your content. For each area, there is a detailed description, list of competitor sites and how they rank, and how your site stacks up. Also offered are tips for improving your ranking or fixing a technical issue with your site.

Overall, it’s a great service. Especially for free. It does feel a bit general and canned, but that’s to be expected for the price. There are paid options if you want unlimited reports or the ability to put your own logo on the reports, which is a cool feature for aspiring or current SEO professionals.

Definitely check out at least the free report on one of your sites. You’ll likely end up with a few things to work on that will help you achieve the rankings you’re after.
